Gold/Silver Remakes? Empty Gold/Silver Remakes?

Yeah, so I was on serebii.net and it said that some Japanese show is announcing a major new Pokemon title next week. So, upon further research, this was proved to be true, and there is reason to believe it is remakes of Gold and Silver, the one region not on the Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS platforms. Any of you think this is true? I hope so.
